The Glow of Christmas...
Join us on Saturday, December 14th at Hoover High School's Performing Arts Hall for two different performances at 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm! We are excited to share what we have learned in class so far and celebrate the holiday season. Each year all of our classes and students perform in our annual Christmas show. Performing is a valuable part of the learning process in the performing arts and so rewarding to share with an audience. Invite friends and family to relax and enjoy while we put on a show!

Tickets are general admission and $10 each. You can begin purchasing tickets through the studio office on Wednesday, November 13th. Tickets will also be available at the door. The balcony and main floor of the auditorium will be open for ample seating. Our shows are professionally recorded, and a digital copy will be distributed to each performer. You may purchase a flash drive with both shows for an additional $15. Flash drive purchases must be made by Sunday, December 15th. Please remember photography and video are NOT allowed during the performances. (You are permitted to video during June dress rehearsals.) We will be selling flowers, treats/snacks, fresh popcorn, and water at both shows again. Stop by the tables to pick up flowers or a treat for you and your dancer while supporting our spring performance of The Wizard of Oz! Lastly, you may purchase Dancer Shout-Outs (https://forms.gle/nxnLGRsKRrUZZ91F6) or Business Advertisements (https://forms.gle/PQ8mEu4Rmckxnfo87) displayed pre-show and through our electronic program. This is a fun way to wish your performer good luck or share an encouraging message while giving your support. Thank you! NEW this Christmas, we have scheduled a Chick-Fil-A food trailer to come between the two performances from 4p - 6p. You will be able to purchase meals for your dancer and family and eat in the commons area between shows eliminating the stress of 'grabbing food.'

Our mandatory Dress Rehearsals will be held the evening before on Friday, December 13th. Dress Rehearsals are at A Time To Dance for our Christmas shows. Shows One dress rehearsal begins at 4:30 pm. Show Two dress rehearsal begins at 6:45 pm. Your performer must attend the dress rehearsal in order to perform in the show. You may leave once you have finished all of your routines for that rehearsal, though we do request that performers stay backstage through the end of the actual performance to take their bow in the finale. Instructors will be backstage and in the changing area monitoring students. Performers should wear their correct attire, shoes, accessories, hair, and makeup to dress rehearsal.

Here is how you should prepare.
Students should wear the outfit described under their class type on our Dress Code Sheet along with the $5 headpiece/accessory specifically for their class. These accessories are passed out in November for you to keep. Please note that some classes, such as Troupe, may be wearing different costumes—instructors will inform both the students and parents if this is the case.
All performers should wear their hair in a tight ballet bun unless otherwise specified by the instructor. Acrobatics classes classes should wear their hair in a ponytail. No jewelry or nail polish should be worn while in costume.

Performers will remain in the choir room and music hallway during the show with the teachers. Please drop off your performer 30 minutes prior to showtime to get settled in and be accounted for. All performers will bow together at the end of the performance and then may be picked up from the choir hallway area after the show.
